30th of June

Today I stayed at home and cleaned up the playroom then I had pizza for lunch then I had a sleep and then I woke up and found a nice clean playroom.

The aquarium

Went to aquarium. We saw some stingrays and some starfish and sharks and we saw the Octonauts.

Unexpected mountain drive

Went to blue mountains but i wasn't expecting too go there. We had a play in Blackheath park there and we saw the 3 sisters.

First penguin waffles

This afternoon my mum made penguin waffles. Me and my brother got to have a whole one then we shared one then we shared a apple.

Learn to whistle

Learning to whistle takes a lot of practice. Today I learnt to whistle. It was awesome. It was in the morning.

King of the classroom

Today I got chosen to be the king of the classroom. I have to go on jobs and I have to go to get people's lunch orders.

New teacher at school

Today I went to school. My normal teacher wasn't there so the other teacher was called Mrs H.

Party at the park

Today I went to a party at a park. We took a ball and at the end we played some AFL. Me and my brother got a balloon, but my brother's floated away, and I shared my balloon with my brother. It was a blue balloon with white spots.

The twins' birthday party

Today I went to a party. It was at someone's house. It was really fun. We played Pass the Parcel and I got the first prize. They were nearly all lollipops, the winner got a game. I had lots of party food and I got a bit sick. There was a jumping castle. It had a slide and everyone kept jumping on everyone. We played Pin the Eye on the Minion. I went dressed up as a clown (but I didn't have a nose).

KJ's assembly

Today was my assembly. It was awesome. We couldn't go out to play at recess because we had to get ready for the assembly. My favourite part was when we did our assembly item. It was called "We will, we will rock you". The girls had cheerleading pompoms. At the end the boys had air guitars. They weren't very big.

Rainbow mufti day

 
Today I wore my rainbow clothes because it was rainbow mufti day. All my friends wore them too. My teacher was a clown.

First tap shoe day

This afternoon me and my brother went to hip hop and for the first time we wore tap shoes [the class is half hip hop and half tap -mum]. We bought the tap shoes after school in a purple shop.

In the evening me and my family looked for a geocache. It was in rocks. My dad found it. I took a photo of my dad.

For my blogjune I drew a whale shark. They are 12 metres long.

Wombats on Wednesday

Thomas was a bit sick today so he has delegated "doing my blogjoon". He missed a day of school but was able to tag along with his little brother to Storytime at the local library.

My climber bot

Tonight I drew this robot. It is a climber bot. It is programmed to climb walls. When it gets to the top it makes a video then comes back down then it shows you the video.

Rayny picnic

Today me and my family went out on a picnic but it rained and then we got into the car.

Planting the garlic

On the 8th of June we went out to our backyard to plant some garlic. The things were called bulbs. You make a little hole and then you put the bulb in.

The weekend party

Today I went to a party and it was at Lollipops. It was the best party ever.

My assembly practice

Today my class went to the hall to practice our assembly item.

A good thing happened today

Today I got 2 certificates and one was a big one and it was big and orange and it was for never having a day off. The other one was for getting 10 tokens.

On the 3rd of June I made myself. My teacher hung all the self-portraits up today. I think that mine is good.

The night we stayed at Vivid for a long time

On the 3rd of June in the night we went out to a light show called Vivid and we saw lots of lights and it was really fun. And we caught the train into the city because it was in the city and Vivid was the best in the whole wide world. And there was a little dance floor and we could dance on it and there was a thing where you had to pull a rope and the light will come on. We stayed there for a very very very long time.

My space picture

I have done my second #blogjune of the week, and I have done a space picture for my #blogjune. It shows a spaceship going up to the Sun and the Moon, then it will go back down to Earth but first it has to collect some rock samples from the Moon. It will be the morning soon, so the astronauts have to be quick with their mission.

My weekend

On the weekend I went to two parties. One was a police one and it was fun. The other one was at a restaurant.

Thomas and #blogjune

This is the blog for Thomas to contribute to #blogjune. Both of his parents participated last year, and he seemed interested in being part of it. Months later he asked us about it, and decided that he wanted to participate.

We're not sure what his form his posts will take - there may be pictures, or there might be text, it will depend on what he feels like posting each day. In case you're wondering why the blog is called "Blogjoon", that was how Tom spelt it.
